Apartment Found!

Hello Everyone,

Business things: I have not had a chance to take pictures yet. And I am still working on responding to individual e-mails. I will get to you all, I just need time to settle into the office work.

The big news: I have been here for less than a week and I already found a place to live!

The only place that I can think of that is comparable to Newtown in the States is East Village In NYC. Lots of different little shops, anything from tattoo shops, to sex shops, to thai restaurants, to everything under the sun shops. It is where the punks, hippies, freaks, queers, and artists live. My new housemates fit the last catagory. One is a painter she has a show going up in 2 weeks so she is a bit stressed at the moment. And the other is a textile designer, right now she is working with ceramics for some corporation. Much to my joy, they have a cute little dog that looks much like a very small Rottweiler.

The apartment itself is beautiful. It is a RowHouse. Has hardwood floors, 4 fireplaces (one in my room), a small garden, and a palm tree growing out of the sidewalk out front.
