Post Holiday Flu

Well Folks I have survived the holidays. Though I still do not believe that it is January.

Christmas I spent at a couple BBQs and it was 40 degrees Celcius (~104 degrees Farenheit) It was a beautiful day, and I met some new people who live right around the corner from me. What I have been trying to understand is what the obsession with snow and Christmas is here. Especially since half the folks here have never even seen snow in their lives.

Then came the New Year. New Year's eve did not appear to be a good night for either me or my friend Von. We seemed to have our plans cancelled on us once and we were stood up as well. Thankfully another friend was happy to have us so we had a grand feast and then walked to the beach and enjoyed our time there.

Now we are into January and I have the Flu. I have been ill for about 4 days now and today I am finally feeling a bit better.
