The 28th of February is my last day with Worldcom. The closer I get to that day the more excited I get. But, unfortunately, this will also wrap up my time in Sydney. The job market is too tight and Australians do not want to sponsor an American. So be it.

So at the moment I am doing as much on this side of the world as I can. I am leaving for a week in New Zealand tomorrow. I am going to Melbourne at the beginning of March. And I am organising a garage sale and trying to wash my hands of my pack-rat ways. All in I am preparation to go to Switzerland. Yes, Switzerland. I am going to be volunteering from the 15th of March to the end of April at Our Chalet which is an international Girl Guide and Girl Scout Centre.

My plans after that are still completely up in the air. I might travel around Europe for a while (say hi to Claudia) or go to a Girl Guide Centre in London, or I might just head straight back to the US. But that is all speculation, and I will not know until it happens.

I am leaving Australia. Which is very sad. But new adventures lay ahead of me.

Since secure e-mail and web server connections are going to be more difficult while at the Girl Guide Centre and while travelling, I have started and online journal that I will check and add to when I go to internet cafes.
